Heaviness
Feeling of heavy, achy legs, and leg muscles that tire easily, especially when standing is a common symptom of varicose veins.
Skin discolouration
Brown or red discolouration of the skin near affected leg veins, also possibly with hardening of the varicose vein, is a symptom of having varicose veins.
In severe cases, symptoms of varicose can also include bleeding from the varicose veins, which can develop into ulcers in the leg. There is also an increased risk for DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis).
